The Providence Club Community Association would like to extend a warm welcome to all Realtors® who list properties in our community. The association realizes that we have a complimentary relationship and many common goals. Chief among these is the desire to maintain and enhance the quality and value of properties within TPC.
Some things you need to know
Everyone's job is easier when all involved have a basic understanding of the rules governing any situation. There are a few things that Realtors® (and owners) need to know when selling a home in The Providence Club.
First of all, we have very strict covenants relating to signs. Please observe the following rules:
(1) Only one for sale sign is permitted on a property.
(2) Directional signs at intersections within the community and at the entrance of the community are violations of the Walton County sign ordinance and will not be tolerated. Any such sign is subject to removal by either the county code enforcement officers or by TPC officers or residents. On the first offense, the sign will probably be laid down where it has been placed so that the Realtor® can easily recover it. On a second offense, the sign will likely be turned over to Walton County code enforcement.
(3) No signs are permitted on association common areas without board approval. Approval will not be granted for realty signs.
Covenants and Architectural Guidelines
Copies of our covenants and architectural guidelines are available for viewing on the home page of this site or by clicking the links on the left hand side of this page. Realtors® are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our governing documents and to call them to the attention of perspective buyers. These documents are well supported by the residents and actively enforced by the association, resulting in the beautiful community that we enjoy today.
Advertising on our web site
Realtors® may advertise their TPC listings on our web site for free! That listing will consist of a small logo or photo of the listed home and a single paragraph describing the home. Also, a link to the Realtor's® site or copy of a single sheet sales flyer can be included. Please see our classified ads section to view commercial ads which would be comparable in size and design.
Dues and Assessments
Our annual dues cover the calendar year and are due in full in January of each year. The amount is set by the board and may vary from year to year. Current dues are $525 per year. These dues cover pool, tennis, park, and other common area use, along with common area landscaping and other association functions.
The Providence Club Community Association is registered under the Georgia Property Owners Association Act. Among other things, this means that an automatic lien is applied to every property within the community. All closings require a closing (clearance) letter from the association. For your convenience, you may apply on-line by clicking here, by clicking the link above, or by clicking the link on the left side of our home page.
The Providence Club Golf Course is a public course owned and operated by The Providence Club Golf Course Inc. and is not affliated with The Providence Club Community Association Inc. Memberships are available to residents but are not required. Daily greens fees are available.
