Use Trail at Your Own Risk

The following rules are for hiker safety and compliance with State of Georgia regulations

⦁ This trail is in a natural area where you may encounter various types of wildlife including snakes, coyotes, deer, dogs, other smaller animals, and stinging and biting insects. If you encounter any wildlife, move to a safe location.

⦁ Hikers only - no vehicles of any type are allowed. This includes bicycles.

⦁ This trail is slippery for a few days after rainfall. The trail may have holes and other trip and fall hazards. For these reasons, no running, jogging, or biking is allowed. Avoid muddy, slick areas. Always watch your step.

⦁ Dogs must be on a leash - please clean up after your pet.

⦁ Do not enter the trail if standing or flowing water is visible on the trail. Caution: Wet soil is very slippery.

⦁ Do not enter the river or climb on the river bank. Stay 3' from river's edge. (GA regulation)

⦁ Do not cut or remove vegetation and do not disturb the soil in any way. (GA regulation)

⦁ No smoking and no fires of any type are permitted due to fire hazards.

⦁ Children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

⦁ Like the rest of the park, the hiking trail closes at dusk.

⦁ Security video recording may be on use in areas along the trail.
